Bhangra is a celebratory dance originating from the state of Punjab in North India. It is most often performed at weddings, but has increasingly become a staple dance program at any established university. Bhangra is a wonderful cardio workout, with energetic dance moves and fun music. Moreover, anyone with good stamina and sense of rhythm can dance bhangra – men, women, children – Anybody dances it: men, women, children, but it’s best suited to those with high stamina and a good sense of rhythm. The dance is fun because the entire thing is a dance of joy!
