On April 30, 2014, six students opened the night with a vibrant and energetic Ukrainian dance performance in celebration of Yale-NUS’s first End of Year!

“My best dining hall moment was performing Ukrainian dance with a group of other students – all of whom had never done the style before – for the closing dinner last year. It was one of my most unforgettable memories from Freshman Year. Infusing the night with a cultural performance that would otherwise have been completely alien brought me back home and made Singapore and Yale-NUS that much more special for me.”–Nicholas Carverhill (Cendana ’17)

    I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter

    She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her
